Although most commonly called 'wrought iron', this furniture is typically made of 'mild steel', which was cheaper and easier to mass produce. It is the style and finish that draws me to this vintage furniture collection.
We've stripped many pieces of outdoor furniture to reveal the blue/gray, soft finish of the steel. A quick spray of clear coat acrylic matte finish will protect if from rust.
You can find both ornate and simple garden designs in tables, chairs and chaise lounges, some from notable mid-century designers.
