Frank Furness is known for designing some of the most elaborate buildings of America's Gilded Age. Transforming a residential mansion from the late 19th Century into a bright, inviting restaurant was a challenge. Using a bright color palette and subtle print pastel wallpaper from Galbraith and Paul, the interior space came alive.
This "spoondalier" light fixture and the "green house" lighting over the bar added a touch of whimsy.
